Anti-Bullying Program FAQ

Please reach us at info@karatechopbullying.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Karate Chop Bullying is a youth empowerment program that teaches confidence, kindness, and bullying awareness. We lead school assemblies and community seminars that give kids practical tools to stand tall, speak up, and treat others with respect.  This bully-prevention and youth-empowerment program is trusted by schools, churches, and youth organizations seeking confidence training and anti-bullying assemblies.

Is this a martial arts program?
No. We use a small amount of martial arts-style drills to teach focus, body language, and confidence. This is not a martial arts class. It is a bullying awareness and empowerment program for all students.

Who leads the seminar?
Tim Flynn is one of the nation’s top bullying advocates and the host of the Breaking Bullying Podcast. Tim travels the country teaching kids how to build confidence and stand strong.

We proudly serve youth organizations throughout Minnesota and Southern California, including schools, churches, sports teams, after-school programs, and community groups. We also travel nationwide for schools and youth organizations that book in advance.

Yes. Donations support our mission of providing anti-bullying school assemblies and offering martial arts scholarships for kids who need financial help in Minnesota, Southern California, and beyond.

Are donations tax-deductible?
Donations may become tax-deductible once the IRS approves our 501(c)(3). Until then, donations support our mission but may not qualify for a tax deduction.

What grades is this program for?
We work with elementary, middle, and high schools. Content is always age-appropriate.  Our anti-bullying assemblies are customized for each age group to maximize confidence-building and real-world bullying prevention.

How long is a school assembly?
A standard assembly is between 45 and 60 minutes. We can adjust based on your schedule.  This timing works well for school assemblies focused on confidence, respect, and bully-prevention education.

What does the message cover?
We teach confidence, kindness, how to recognize bullying, how to respond safely, and how to support others.

Do you offer multiple sessions in one day?
Yes. Many schools book two or three assemblies to cover different grade levels.

Can parents attend?
Yes. Parent attendance is always welcome if the school allows it.

Do you offer martial arts scholarships?
Our goal is to provide martial arts scholarships to kids in Minnesota, Southern California, and beyond. These scholarships help kids build confidence, resilience, self-esteem, discipline, and bully-prevention skills.

How do families apply?
Once our scholarship application is launched, families will be able to apply through our website.

How do I book a Karate Chop Bullying assembly?
You can contact us via the booking form on our website or email us anytime at info@karatechopbullying.org

How far do you travel?
We travel nationwide, with our primary service areas in Minnesota and Southern California.

What does it cost to bring the program to our school?
Pricing depends on travel, location, and the number of assemblies. Reach out and we will provide a custom quote.
